SUMMARY

Opera Australia opens its summer season in dazzling style with the triumphant staging of La bohème by the acclaimed director Gale Edwards. The updating of Puccini’s melodic masterpiece from a Parisian garret and café to a bawdy Berlin nightclub has reawakened the classic for devotees of the legendary composer and a new generation of opera-goers.

Be the first to see exciting soprano Nicole Car in her Sydney debut as the seamstress Mimì and the sensational tenor Gianluca Terranova as the poet Rodolfo as they give a performance that matches the splendour of the night.
