There’s nowhere in the world like Sydney on New Year’s Eve and there’s nowhere closer to the action than the Sydney Opera House. Celebrate the arrival of 2013 at Opera Australia’s famous New Year’s Eve event and make this your most glamorous and memorable New Year ever.
Your evening begins at sunset with an exclusive three-course dinner created by celebrity chef Matt Moran looking out over Sydney Harbour. Then, in one of the magnificent halls of the Sydney Opera House, watch Puccini’s heartbreakingly romantic La bohème, or a dazzling Gala Concert of popular arias by Verdi, Puccini, Bizet and more performed by some of Australia’s favourite artists, with fireworks and champagne at interval. Afterwards, as Sydney explodes with the world’s greatest fireworks display, you’ll have the best view while enjoying canapés and live music into the new year.
Select from the following options to create your perfect New Year’s Eve. You may choose to only attend a performance, or to add a pre-performance and/or post-performance event to your ticket.
To really bring in the New Year with style, choose a Platinum Package, which includes the pre-performance dinner, the very best premium seats to the performance of your choice, the Midnight Party, a glass of French champagne at interval and a program, from $1040.
