Opera Australia presents its mainstage productions at two of the most vibrant and prestigious venues in Australia.

The world-heritage listed Sydney Opera House is an architectural icon and one of Australia's biggest tourist destinations. It is also a busy arts centre presenting dance, theatre, arts, music and opera 364 days a year. Opera Australia presents its Summer Season (January to March) and Winter Season (June to September) in the Opera Theatre at Sydney Opera House.
 
The Arts Centre is the focal point of Melbourne's cultural precinct on the south bank of the Yarra River. Opera Australia presents its Autumn Season (April-June) and Spring Season (October-December) in the State Theatre at the Arts Centre.
