Gather together a group of eight or more to receive a discount of up to 15% off the regular ticket price. Groups of twenty or more receive an even greater discount.

Standing Room tickets

 $44 standing room tickets are available from 9am on the day of the performance. These can only be booked in person at the Sydney Opera House box office. There is often a small queue for these tickets, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. These tickets do not attract any further discounting in conjunction with any other offers.

Balcony Box Restricted-view Seats

Sometimes referred to as "Listening seats", a limited number of restricted-view seats go on sale at 9am on the day of the performance for $44 per ticket. These can only be purchased in person at the Sydney Opera House Box Office. These seats have a very limited view of the stage, but on a sell-out show this is a great way of ensuring you can hear your favourite opera or singer at a reduced price. There is often a small queue for these seats so arrive early to avoid disappointment. These seats do not attract any further discounting in conjunction with any other offers.

Student Rush

Any unsold seats are available to full-time students for $44 from one hour prior to all performances. These tickets can only be purchased in person at the Box Office, where an announcement will be made when tickets go on sale. You will be offered the best available seats - sometimes the best in the house - but please note that we may only have restricted-view seats available. This discount requires the presentation of a valid student I.D, is limited to one ticket per student card holder, and is not subject to any further discounting in conjunction with any other offers.
