QUEENSLAND PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

 

Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is located on the corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank, Queensland. 

It is superbly situated at the heart of Brisbane's Cultural Centre precinct.

Box Office

The main Box Office is located upstairs (Level M) from the Grey Street entrance to QPAC - open 9am to 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Theatres

Opera Australia performs in the Lyric Theatre.

Getting there

There are many easy ways to get to QPAC, whether it be via a short walk from the city across Victoria Bridge, driving and parking in one of the nearby carparks or using one of the public transport options that stop just outside the front door, or within easy strolling distance.  These include:


Train to South Brisbane Station, opposite QPAC in Grey Street.
 
Bus to the Cultural Centre Busway Station on the Melbourne Street side of QPAC.
 
CityCat to South Bank Ferry Terminal which is only a short walk along the river from QPAC, in South Bank Parklands.

Taxi to the designated taxi set-down and pick-up area on the Grey Street side of QPAC. Free taxi phones are located in the main Melbourne Street foyer, the Cremorne Theatre Lobby and the coffee shop level of the Playhouse, as well as at Stage Door.

Parking

If you do want to drive to the theatre, the Riverside Carpark is conveniently located, with entry via Melbourne Street or Stanley Place.

Opens 7am Mon to Fri; 8.30am Sat, Sun & public holidays
Closes Midnight Tue to Sat; 10pm Sun & Mon & public holidays (pending events in the precinct)

The height of the Riverside car park is 2 meters.
