A night at the opera is a distinctive way to build morale and reward your employees. It can be incorporated into an existing or new incentive program for groups of any size.

  • Include a night at the opera as an option for a free night for delegates and/or spouses, your special meeting or conference guests, or as a reward for employees.
  • Organise a large group to attend a scheduled opera and include pre-performance cocktails and canapés or dinner, or a small interval function.
  • Book a private performance complete with pre-performance dinner or cocktail function and a host of special effects – just for your audience.

In Sydney performances take place at the iconic Sydney Opera House, surrounded by the glittering waters of one of the most beautiful harbours in the world.

Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour is a spectacular outdoor event held at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney, with a magnificent backdrop of Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour.

For your Melbourne event, you will spend your evening at the spectacular South Bank precinct on the banks of the Yarra at the heart of Melbourne's arts and entertainment district. There's passion and drama inside, and the fabulous night sky (and nightlife) outside.

Pre-performance talks providing insights into the production.

Opera Centre tours – approximately one hour in duration, these tours are available at the Sydney Surry Hills Opera Centre and explore all the various departments required to stage an opera – costume, wigs, millinery, set models, design and construction and rehearsal studios.

Customised programs, tickets and cast sheets to acknowledge your sponsors and welcome delegates.

Combine the performance with a pre- or post-performance dinner or cocktail function, or during the interval.

Private performances are the ultimate way to impress your delegates^.

  • We can accommodate up to 1400 people in Sydney, or 2000 in Melbourne for any given performance.
  • Foyer banners to welcome your delegates.
  • Tickets customised and printed with logos.
  • Surtitle screen displaying a special message of welcome prior to the performance.
  • Distribution of conference programs, delegate gifts etc via a seat drop.
  • Pre-performance talks providing a fascinating insight into the production.
  • Onstage address – a client or sponsor may give a welcome speech prior to the performance.
  • Finish with a bang – it may be possible to arrange petal drops, confetti and flutter cannons.
