RACHEL WESTWOOD

Background

Born in Australia, Rachel studied inter alia with Dana Pomeranz-Mazurkevich, John Harding, and Laszlo Kiss, and was a Fellow of the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra 1991. After a freelance period including work with the Australian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, became a permanent member of the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra in 1991.
