MICHAEL HONEYMAN
Background: Completed the Emerging Performer’s program with the Australian Opera Studio in 2008. Received his academic training at the Australian National University, graduating with First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Music Performance. He has regularly appeared in concert performances in Canberra and Perth, plus operatic roles for Stopera and the Australian Opera Studio. Michael has also been a featured recitalist for Art Song Perth and Art Song NSW. His operatic repertoire includes The Bosun in Billy Budd, Peter in Hansel und Gretel, Publio in La clemenza di Tito, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, Nardo in La finta giardiniera, Macheath in Threepenny Opera, Sam in Trouble in Tahiti, Lescaut in Manon, Salieri in Mozart and Salieri and Raul St Brioche in The Merry Widow
